Odd question to Asusmy 780ti Reference boards has been stopped production afaik in all board partners except maybe evga. All current designs are by the respective Nvidia Board Partners. So expect a price increase to accommodate. Higher the clock , higher the rate of failure. So higher quality components are used so higher the cost. Although true the matrix was meant to be a overclocking card but overall, ure paying for the cost of the design. Samething y is evga kingpin classified 780ti at MRSP USD859 without shipping?? and matrix pricing here is roughly USD 940 (Exchange 3.294) So expected price with shipping included, profit margin for Retailer, Distro etc. Surprised u never broughtup why titans are USD1000, but is sold here in 3999, If u look at amazon it self u cannot buy a titan black for USD1000. or a r9 290x at USD599. overclocking is never a guaranteed thing as it depends on the binning of the chip used. Its not guaranteed. Think with ure 13cards in a year u should know this. again just wanted to state this even if u know it but for others as well. QUOTE(KajumaO2 @ May 6 2014, 01:25 PM) Malaysia is a retail based. Not online. Most shops in the US are back to back order on retail/online. Cut cost etc. Only big guns like newegg stocks them. They can do this cause their logistic system from distro to retailers are online/booking based etc. So it doesnt matter if they stock it or not.Their logistic channel infrastructure is fast n cheap because theres a large usage for cargo plans running 24/7 etc. In Malaysia, sales ppl, rent of premise in lowyat, loss of currency conversion (spread) all accounts for the increase. So its back to number game. 100 ppl want a matrix.. it will be cheaper. Take it like this .. in the grand scheme of things.. even Asusmy time, to reply here.. is costing somebody. btw we are lucky we are retail based. matrix are flying here on air http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showth...um-overclocking btw also for those who dont know overclocking. Same like mobo. The high end ones vs the crappy shit. The difference is Clocking CPu linearly with high dram clocks. Thats the benefit of M6e. It can be done if u know how to use it. Same thing with Matrix. ure clocking high gpu clocks with high Vram clocks. also ppl in europe have been paying the most before their vat kick in. they should be paying close to 4k. QUOTE(KajumaO2 @ May 6 2014, 01:55 PM) Thanks for the info Bro, IMO I still feel Malaysian Businesses should shape-up and Help the local people on acquiring high end product for lower price. U cant expect a retailer to take a risk on expensive stuff, low margin and the longer its on their shelves place they are actually losing money. Cause the same money spent they could have been used for other things for turn around. its akin to this "Can u stock for me a titan Z. Buy it with ure own cash. Let me have a look. Will decide end of the month i get it from u or not." Same scenario ure saying with the retailers dude. Time for u to go into business. This post has been edited by cstkl1: May 6 2014, 02:31 PM |

QUOTE(targon @ May 6 2014, 10:14 PM) yeah....I saw it there this evening.....rested high on the shelves at czone. wouldn't get the sales ppl to reduce the price. the usual response: just arrived at our store, it's very new.......blah blah...blah.....the usual crap. yeah reason is they have a lot of patrons that buy at the RSP price.expect to pay the full price at czone, not even a penny less. Tons of them. Quad sli titans, Extreme procs, Raid 512gb x 4 etc etc etc.. Since they always store high end stuff like cpu, gpu, mobo, rams etc.. Asus cards has a game bundle verstion and non bundle. the one sold here are non. Radeons afaik are the only that has for reference cards. |

QUOTE(KajumaO2 @ May 19 2014, 04:52 PM) Graphically doesnt look intense. Just looks lile has lot of hrs of gameplay. Enemy ai looks dumb. Based on the ps4 leaked. But that was like 13gb Pc full install is like 50gb. So hopefully that translate to more graphic immersion. But doubt it. This post has been edited by cstkl1: May 19 2014, 05:10 PM |

QUOTE(skylinelover @ Aug 6 2014, 09:19 PM) haha nice example then all lambo, ferrari etc.. most of the people i know who has them.. it spends more time in workshop than time clocked on the road.now i have found the ultimate reason why i still have the purpose of survival without needing the LAMBO every weekend so the question is how many weekends a year u can actually drive a lambo. |
