Wah why so many Asus P8Z68-V mobo got RAM slots problem? I read some china forum also many people complain about the 华硕 Z68 series mobo having RAM slots problem too! I think nowadays the Asus P8Z68-V, V=Value mobo not worth to buy anymore!    Buy Intel or MSI mobo better!

it happens on my MVG & MVF too. 
it is one of the the bios bugs that needed to be resolved by Asus bios engineer.

other bugs are:

- Changing the CPU multplier/ratio always enables EIST,
- Having all unneeded onboard devices disabled for benching, loading my daily 24/7 profile in OC Profiles makes the systems hangs,
- The board seems to have a mind of its own about choosing first boot device,
- Full screen logo enables whenever it feels like it even though i always have it disabled.

a quick solution is to reset the CMOS, then only the keyboard is responsive again.
but i always pressing DEL repetitively, a few reboots if unsuccessful,  then only managed to get into the bios settings.
for sure it has nothing to do with a failed OC settings or successful OC, just a buggy bios.
