Hi All... I Just get my new toy P8Z68 Deluxe... and i am stuck before implement her. i need some opinions from experts here ^^ i am going to reinstall a fresh copy of the Windows 7 Ultimate, and i know that z68 can make the SSD become a cache drive. thats make me no idea how to setup my rig now. i got a OCZ Vertex3 SSD and a WD Black Edition HDD 1. SSD(Cache) : HDD(OS + DATA) 2. SSD(OS) : HDD(DATA) which setup will get the better performance? Thanks ^^

QUOTE(ASUSmy @ Sep 28 2011, 03:28 PM) Hi all,
You cannot install the OS onto the SSD if it is acting as the cache. You can however, assign a portion of the disk space for data but not OS installation.
Here's a guide on how to set it up! [url=https://www.facebook.com/asusmalaysia#!/notes/asus-singapore/guide-asus-z68-intel-smart-response-technology/268639839833140] thanks for your reply, what i mean is i use the SSD as system disk 1. SSD(CACHE)+HDD(SYSTEM) compare 2. SSD(SYSTEM) which setup will get the better performance? thanks again
