i hope this so-called "asus representative" can survive here wink.gif like msi & gigabyte reps.
the so-called "support" promise to call me soon when they contacted several shops to notify them about that so-called "refund". and until now, already a month, there are still no news from them. i wish you for a luck.  thumbup.gif

ya. we need answer for the replacement program. I cant afford to wait too long.

If its really taking 1 month to swap b2 to b3, i rather buy other brand mobo and rma the asus. Then sell of the asus after get it.  laugh.gif

yes, i think i m going to give up on asus, if they did not do what they promised in the press release. and i think this can considered as a fraud, so we should take legal action?

good news lonely!! finally. by the way, what kind of mobo you will buy to after refunded? this one? biggrin.gif

because i'll get that mobo after i get refund for my *toot* board for several reason, for example, less power draw when idle.
*

QUOTE(MichaelJohn @ Apr 11 2011, 07:47 PM)

I second this.
it's getting from bad to worse. Guess because they're taking the easy way out?  tongue.gif

Asus reputation is not going down the drain due to the Asus ROG arm, which have loads of fans here in MY.
time to fire the distributor.
*
yes agree! fire the long-eat-till-fat-and-lazy-to-improve distributor tongue.gif

what happened to this previous statements?
maybe they confuse that "refund" means replacement. somebody need to teach them proper english language.
well, wait for asusmy tomorrow; working days!

QUOTE(DarkNite @ Apr 18 2011, 11:42 AM)
Still not yet settle?
I wonder how many more times must you wait. You contact AsusMy already or not?

Maybe you check with thaisxs or owikh84 on how they do it, they seems ok liao?
*
yes they told me i can do refund when i called them, but after i happily pack up everything and go to their shop, they keep denying about the refund where they say only allow to replace with a new 1. and i told them there official statement say that we can do refund but he act blur say dunno. i was very frustrated coz this is the 4times i visit them for refund. mad.gif
cry.gif its make the things look like i m so cheapskate keep on demanding the refund vmad.gif i will giv last shot to asusmy, if they still pull me here and there i will take further action liao.

It happens not only here...read a lot of displeasure on internet  from others abroad having problems too with the replacement\refund program too  blink.gif  This "Push n Pull" syndrome seems synonymous to Asus now..no wonder Gigabyte and  MSI really gaining ground. Come to think of it...maybe my sabertooth P67 FIVE year warranty just 'on paper' only.. hmm.gif
*
its time to let go sad.gif i m sorry to say that if this case not settle b4 May i will be shifting to MSI or gaygaybte in future pc purchase, ending my 13years of asus journey.

QUOTE(billytong @ Apr 19 2011, 01:25 PM)
To be honest if it wasnt that 5 year warranty board, I wouldnt even bother buying Asus. It is more expensive in general. right now I am gunning for "top up upgrade to Z68" and be forget about this matter.

I have 6 motherboard failed on me in the past, the longest lasting one is MSI. Base on that I would probably go for MSI.
*
y bother to say with a manufacturer that dun even appreciate your business over another 1 with full support? just go ahead dude, i might doing the same if they dun solve my problem b4 may laugh.gif
=D gaygaybyte not bad at all worth consider but msi seem to getting better from last time really-so-so-in-term-of-quality mobo.

another fanboy who just stand up to protect their brand without any knowledge to the case we talking bout.

another thing nid to highlight to this Mr.Asus-My-Friend is that even we called customer services there only lead us to an endless waiting period.

=) good luck to everyone who hunting for z68! i just got my p8z68-v pro yesterday, its seem like a downgrade from p8p67 deluxe but the price really killing lol so i go for the lower board instead ! so far so good!

most important! intel lied about the 3 years time frame of the storage controller degradation! in my previous system, after 3 months of heavy usage my PC will hang ONCE in a while or sometime explorer.exe crash etcs! but today this new z68 board after 24 solid hours of stress test, there din hav any syndrom of storage issue!

p.s i am still an asus user tongue.gif

Perhaps try installing this: ftp://ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/ASUS/misc/utils...LUXE_XPWin7.zip
May i ask you mean dealer/resellers or distributor.
Which motherboard is that? Try checking it has USB BIOS Flashback function or not. You can try using that function before sending it to RMA.
