Hi. I have purchased the Z170-Deluxe motherboard and connecting the HDMI port to a LG UHD TV. I am getting video but there is no audio to the TV speakers. In Windows 10 Sound, Playback Devices, it says Digital Audio (HDMI) High Definition Audio Device Not plugged in. I turn on the TV before turning on the computer. I wonder why video is working and not audio. Is there a driver update for this?

Hi Andy,

Please make sure the audio and video driver are install in the PC. Do you mind show what do you see at the Playback devices in the Sound.

Thank you

Hi, see attached

I solved the problem. Installed the latest Intel HD Graphics driver from Intel site. The driver that comes with Windows Update is not up to date. This latest driver also solved the choppy video playback on Windows 10.

Thanks for your assistance.
