Is it normal if i'm having the P8P67 pro with the different serial number as labelled on the box? Part of the swapping process for ver. B3?

Just realised this right after i brought it home.

I'm worried if this will affect my warranty in future.

warranty procedure are:

1. you send the board to the shops where you bought.
2. bring along the purchasing receipt.

then it will be a no problem.

guys !!
my friend just get his new i7 pc.
i7 2600k+asus P8P67 mobo +CM hyper 212+and HAF 912 casing.after install ,we find out in bios temp show up is 47-50c idle (all with default setting,NO OC yet)
why the temp is so high in idle ??is that normal ??
any 1 can give me know ASAP ? THX ^^
*
That's not really normal. Did you check to see if all the casing's fans were on? It could be the ambient temperature that's affecting the CPU.

That is normal, as Intel Turbo Boost will push the CPU Multiplier up by a little.
You can disable Intel Turbo Boost to stop this automatic overclocking feature from functioning.

How about if the shop I bought it from is gone? They only had 1 year shop warranty anyway.

Do I go to an outlet or an office or something? I know there's an Asus store in MidValley.

I got a graphics card dying on me (EAH HD4850) so thought I'd ask.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but:

When is the EEE Transformer coming out in Malaysia officially? How much would it cost? Would the local sets be priced competitively against the iPad2 like in the US?
*
The Transformer will be launched next week. As for pricing info, I don't have that at the moment.

The Z68 boards were only launched today officially. If you head to the local tech stores you should find the boards available.

From what I know so far, there's no Sabertooth for the Z68. However, the next Sabertooth board will be for an AMD platform. whistling.gif
