I'm assuming this only applies to people who buy the cards purely for mining? what about those that play games and mine?

Hi Kanan Jarrus,

The motherboard are sufficient to support the graphic card and the processor.

It just that the motherboard have one 1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16, if in the future you plan to do SLI or add in another PCIe x 16 card then you won't be able to.

And make sure the power supply are enough for your graphic card as 1080 require a lot of power.

Thank you

Any reason for me not to buy asus-brand router from China (tmall)?
Other than warranty claim?

The price difference is almost TWO TIMES.
AC86U
China - RM500+
Malaysia - RM1200+

*It's from Tmall, so it is 100% guaranteed genuine.

Hi 8823,

One of the main reason is it is local warranty only, if anything is to happen you will need to send back to Tmall for warranty claim.

I not sure whether it is genuine or not or it is refurbish unit, you will need to check with them as ASUS router provide 3 years warranty on new unit purchases.

Thank you
