Hi cofin,

Thank you

Hi Guys! I just like to check, i got an asus H81M-D mobo and it says 1600 MHz RAM, so I bought the G. Skill 4x2 RAm but it is being read as 800 MHz. Is there a setting that I need to check or something's wrong with my setup? Thank guys!

Hi Punanister,

May I know are you still facing the problem? Where do you get the value 800MHz from?

Thank you

its ddr meaning double date rate. so its actually 800 mhz x2 = 1600mhz

i just purchased Asus Rog Maximus IX Hero and pair with Corsair DDR4 LPX Vengeance 2 * 8GB 3200 mhz.
Processor is i7 7700K

Upon first start the PC and boot into Bios, found out the RAM speed is not 3200 mhz. It showed only 2133 Mhz.

What I did to Bios is:
- Set the AI Overclock Tuner to Manual
- Scroll down to Dram Frequency and select 3200MHz.
- Scroll down to Dram voltage and enter in 1.35v
- Scroll down to CPU System Agent voltage and enter in 1.17v
- Scroll down to CPU VCCIO voltage and enter in 1.15V
- Overide CPU Voltage at 1.17

My question is I sometimes face the problem that PC will not boot upon press the power button. Screen show blank. Found out there is an error Q-Code 55. But if I power off and on it again, it will post with no issue.

What is the problems ?

Hi audiocool,

May I ask, have you try to update the motherboard BIOS?

If you select the XMP profile, will you have this problem?

Thank you

Previously using bios version 0906 have this problem with Q-Code 55 and sometimes the Q code is 09..

With beta Bios 1004 posted by Raja@Asus in Rog forum, so far the Q-Code I hit is 55

Since Sunday, I had adjusted the

CPU System Agent voltage = 1.20v
CPU VCCIO voltage = 1.17

Already 2 days, I don't have any Q-Code error yet. I will monitor and see. If it happened that again, I will switch to XMP profile..

Please enlighten me as I'm don't have much knowledge for the voltage thing.

Few days ago, I faced the same issue that my PC won't post.
This time I manually set to XMP profile and choose DDR4 3200mhz.
Yes, I manually set the RAM Voltage to 1.35

For CPU System Agent voltage and CPU VCCIO voltage, should I leave it default or ?

you can just leave them at default if no issue on your system
as for my system,i have to set them at 1.x v (cant remeber what i set) for the system agent volt. vccio, default/auto.
but then again, mileage may vary.i'm on Haswell-E platform

ok. Thanks for advise. I will leave it with current settings now. IF any issue with XMP then then I will set SA and VCCIO to Auto...
