Hi Liuteva,

May I know where is the LED light stop on the Q LED. Try unplugging those extra device connected to the motherboard until only PSU, CPU and RAM. Power on and see the motherboard can boot up or not.

Thank you

Hi sai86,

Maybe you can try clearing the CMOS and load everything on the BIOS to default and try again.

You can try downgrade the BIOS using the BIOS USB flashback function. But if your problem occur after sometime you upgrade the newest BIOS then doubt it will be the BIOS version problem.

Thank you

The board came with latest bios and nvr encounter such long POST load.
even i plug in the minimum device, it still took the same sweet time sweat.gif

i'll try downgrade 1 version of bios and see how. any idea/method i can try to determine the real cause on LED light up on BOOT Device?
tqvm

wondering is the below is also a possible cause?

I fixed it! Yay! I took the mobo out of the case and hooked up only the required stuff. It booted into bios properly and when I looked at my case I realized that one of the cables had been touching the back of the mobo. My case has a space behind it to rout cables for better airflow and also a cutout in the panel the mobo is mounted on so you can see the cpu fan clips to make sure they're pushed all the way through. The cable was touching the back of the board in that cut out place. I just moved it over, put everything back in and it works.

Hi sai86,

You can try the method the user posted, if still cannot maybe there is something wrong with the motherboard.

Thank you

Hi Asus. I just had a nightmare on my asus z170 maximus viii hero running on windows 10 pro. Its causing my cpu continously running at 15% (system and compressed memory) even the computer is doing nothing. It happened also after a fresh os installation. Contacted microsoft support and finally found the root cause. Stop asus AI suite 3 service, rebooted and the cpu back to normal, 0% when idle. Proceed to uninstalled AI suite 3 and done all the tuning from mobo bios. All working fine and fantastic now. Please fix the broken asus AI suite 3 software as its causing this issue on windows 10 pro.

Aside to the above, please advise on asus ultrawide PG348Q ips wqhd monitor availbility here. Hope its going to have a good competative price so many of us can eventually afford to get 1. Althought asus is always a little high on price wise. smile.gif
