For Asus GC 770 or 780, what the minimum PSU for it?

get a decent 600-650w and you're good to go. Actually even a 550w will run a gtx 770 smile.gif

A true Tech Enthusiast wouldn't dream of spending less on his high end custom gaming PC than his car. After all, that's where he does most of his driving. This tech enthusiast lives up to his dream by purchasing a high end custom gaming PC powered by ASUS ROG RAMPAGE IV Black Edition motherboard, and ASUS GTX 780 Direct CU II OC graphics card. The PC comes with at a price tag comparable to that of an everyday car, RM35k.

all lambo, ferrari etc.. most of the people i know who has them.. it spends more time in workshop than time clocked on the road.

so the question is how many weekends a year u can actually drive a lambo.

Does ASUS service centre do BIOS flashing?

I have a P9X79 PRO motherboard and an Intel I7 4820k processor. The problem is my BIOS is an old one (1104) and I will need to convert it to .CAP and then flash it to the BIOS that supports IVB-E. I have successfully flashed the mobo with the BIOS converter however the system needs to boot in order for the process to be done right?

So conclusion, I will either need to get a i7 3xxx series LGA 2011 processor or can I send to an ASUS Service Center for BIOS flashing?

Please advice.

Hi shinjite,

You can use the USB flashback for this model. Below is the guide on how to do it. No CPU require when doing the BIOS update.

Thank you

Hi, I have tried those and for some reason I can't flash the .CAP bioses after using the BIOS converter. The LED light will always stay solid.

Hi shinjite,

The latest BIOS version is already is .CAP file, try rename it or remain the same name to have a try. And make sure your pendrive is FAT16 or FAT32

Thanks, it looks like the time for me to pay a visit to Digital Mall is coming nearer. Though i'm not sure if I really need all the RoG features presently or in the future. Still mulling over this with other gaming motherboard from other vendors.

Bought myself an ASUS Crossblade Ranger for RM579 from hikari85 (awesome seller with awesome price btw) for my future FM2+ build.
Some people might think i'm stupid for paying over the odds for supposedly a budget platform, but I don't care. It's for my satisfaction. Beside JJ is an awesome guy, very knowledgeable.

Thanks in advance.
