Assuming that you are using the MAXIMUS V Gene (thank you for the support), can you try to fully uninstall the Ai Suite II / Ai Charger and reinstall the latest one again.

GTX series here, got several issue, wonder able to warranty or not since warranty its 3 yrs, I still got 3 months to go...


Issue:

1. Jump out to window (Restore GC resolution ...)
2. If continue using it, jump out from window several time, thn will be ended that no signal detect but graphic card still running...
3. Recently, if used it for long period, while watching movie, it will jam, repeating scene for the 1~2 sec continuously
4. If play games, the game will hang for 10~20sec thn smooth back after another 5~10 sec, it hang again (CPU usage showing abnormal figure).

We are sorry to hear the issue you are facing with your graphics card. As long as it's still within 3 years, you can still RMA the card. But before that, let's just do some simple check before sending it in, hopefully we can avoid the hassle.

1. How's the temperature of the graphics card during idle and load?
2. Is the graphics card in stock setting or oc-ed?
3. Try the latest forceware from NVIDIA

Should the problem is still there and you are confident that it's the graphics card having issue, you can send the card to the dealer your purchased from to proceed with the RMA. If sending to the dealer is a problem, just PM us and we will direct you the correct procedure.

Uhmmm... yesterday night I tried to open my desktop again, totally no signal output from the graphic card although it is running. I just remove it out and use my motherboard output instead (No issue while using my motherboard graphic output)....:/

But physically, can feel that the graphics card is hot. I nvr been using it heavily, less using my desktop because I got 2 company laptop and busy with work, usually js weekend, watching movie etc, thus dont really bother about it. But recently, my housemate poisoned me with a new game, thus I pick it up and have this finding.

About oc-ed, I nvr try once, neither know how to do it... >_<

Btw, can elaborate more about the forceware? What can it do? hehe... Is it a stress/performance testing tools etc and capture with result and indicator if the card is working good or yet not? I tried googled it, seems like it is unlocking the graphic card potential instead?

Firstly, if there's no signal output i guess you can safely go to the dealer and claim for warranty. Remember to bring the receipt. As for the forceware, what i was trying to imply it's the NVIDIA driver. Sorry i guess i should just mention it as driver rather than forceware. NVIDIA/AMD usually updates their driver frequently and it is usually faster. So it is recommended to install the latest driver. The currect latest driver is version 331.82 (http://www.geforce.com/drivers).

To check the graphics card temperature you can actually make use of GPU-Z at the sensor part. You can also log it. If the graphics card i relatively hotter than advertised, perhaps cleaning it up and changing the thermalpaste may help. Since it's almost 3 years old. However, normally temperature problem would not result to lost of display. But no hard checking it first.
