Need help and suggestion from all the techie sifus here.

I live on the 1st flr of a 5 story block of flats in Serdang. I have a new TV but no antenna. i suppose I can use an indoor antenna but prefer a regular outdoor antenna. I have permission from the building owner to install the antenna on the roof, which is not too difficult. In the end I just want to have good reception.

Question is, the coax cable is gonna be long, something like 70ft -80 ft.

Do I need an amplifier/booster?
What kind of cables are out there?
Are there good quality vs normal quality ones? Price?
How to tell the difference?
Where do I aim the antenna? Towards Sri Pentas in 1 U?
