Depending on if you get Plasma or LCD. If plasma then 5 blade fan might be better...

5 blades better, More air is circulated compared to the 4 blades (assuming all else being equal, i.e if both motors turning at the same RPM).

The question is too general. I think it depends on the brand and type.
I am using the Panasonic remote-controlled 4-blade fan while my parents are using the Panasonic 5-blade one. Mine gives more breeze than my parents' one. But still cannot beat the old-fashioned non-remote 3-blade type for maximum breeze. |

QUOTE(Ngto @ Mar 29 2011, 09:18 PM) 5 blades better, More air is circulated compared to the 4 blades (assuming all else being equal, i.e if both motors turning at the same RPM). err... Not neccessary correct even with the same rpm. It's depend on the blades angle too.. 4 blades with higher degree angle have the possibility to produce more flow too..By the way, is this related to the Home Entertaintment? Is it to see the quieter fan to compliment the home theater enjoyment? |
