i'm fine with apple not releasing another iphone.

apple better show us a more mature and stable iOS. better add more features to the iOS, such as make the iphone as a removeable drive when plugged into the PC's USB so that we can utilize the big capacity of our iphone as a thumbdrive (not tied to itunes please). pls add more advance features to the camera app too. pls add more settings to the safari browser like find text in page, disable loading of image, and flash support.

using the iPhone as a thumbdrive is already possible. there is an app for it, look it up on google or something. saw it on one of my mate's phone. didnt want to install it as i already to have thumbdrive (im sure everyone does) so dont wanna risk my phone being plugged into any computer.

Making iPhone as a USB drive is currently not achievable unless u jailbreak your phone.

It's true. The hardware for 3GS and 4 are good enough. To fully utilize it, more features need the be unleashed from the iOS.

I think software enhancement is more important right now. Better iOS can bring more useful features to all iPhones such as bring in thumbdrive capability, custom SMS tone. IMO, these are the basic features that all phone should have. U can't expect every PC in the world has iTunes in it.

Apple is also planning production of an additional 5 million units of the existing iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS models as it transitions to the new model.
