With the new A5 dual core chip in the IPAD2 I can sure to say to expect it to be made available in the next coming IPhone.

True or not. Well we shall just wait the upcoming news/rumors.. there is no definite answer till Apple release the products itself officially.

3G & 3GS is exactly the same externally... same design with hardware enhancement and hence there is no reason the casing is diff

Yeap... those who have their iphone 4 and the whites especially can peacefully enjoy their device for the next few months perhaps? haha

Got a feeling the next generation will be out together with IOS5 which is around September.. Still contemplating whether to get the white or not.. if it's out most probably I will sell off the white for the new one.

I personally wouldn't take all the numbers and figure into beating one another. I would prefer looking into real user experience and the satisfaction level a particular phone can give me. Seriously i really hate the amoled plus screen and i feel it no where can give me the eye comfort level that retina display can provide. I feel the contrast and color just feel so overkill that it looks fake on the amoled screen. On the processor side, give me a quad core i still don't think it will make a difference because with the current processor it is more then enough to provide a good and smooth user experience.

It's true that Apple did send some testing device aka iphone 5/4s to Maxis around mid year for testing purposes.
