Sad to see Jose 9 year miracle has ended like this.
By the way, are Ronaldo, Benzema and Marcelo still out for Spurs clash? |

Jose Mourinho says he may take a "risk" and play Cristiano Ronaldo in Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final first-leg tie against Tottenham Hotspur.
Mourinho, who on Saturday night surrendered his nine-year, 150-game unbeaten record in league home matches when Real Madrid lost to Sporting Gijon, had previously ruled Ronaldo out of the game with a hamstring problem. However, Mourinho will meet with his top scorer, as well as the injured Karim Benzema and Marcelo, to establish whether the three players are willing to take a gamble on their fitness of the game at the Bernabeu. "If he [Ronaldo] has a chance it's because he and his coach are taking a risk, because the information from the medical department is that he can't play, that he can only play in the game in Bilbao [next weekend]," Mourinho said. "But if the two of us and only the two of us decide that he's going to play then the risk is mine and his. Tomorrow I will talk with the injured players and decide if we will risk them." Even if Ronaldo is unable to declare his availability then at least Real saw the unexpected return of Gonzalo Higuain to first-team action on Saturday night. The striker had not played since November after undergoing surgery on a herniated disc but returned ahead of schedule to play against Sporting. Higuain said: "On an individual level I'm very happy. People believed I would miss the entire season, but I managed to show that statistics aren't everything in life. It was not a challenge or a competition with anybody, it was a matter of pride for myself to show that I could be back ahead of schedule. "I was able to achieve that and I feel very comfortable. The key to the recovery was fighting hard, not letting myself get down and battling for what I love most, which is to play football. "I'm grateful to all the coaching staff, the doctors, fans, my team-mates, my family and to myself. I'm very happy to be able to feel like a player again, although this wasn't quite the dream comeback I was hoping for." |

i would said that last match was a bad luck for us.. we did have tons of opportunities.. but we fail to at least equalized.. really bad luck at very wrong timing.. we have crucial month ahead and we faced numbers of injuries.. haih..
so, obviously.. we can say that we had just gave the title to barca.. anyway.. hopefully we can win CL or at least CDR.. no more trophy-less season plss.. |

there is no problem finish second.. the special one said a months ago..
last game not our luck.. most our players suffered fatigue on the pitch after the euro qualification.. with several players are injured too.. no creative player.. we depend on ozil and maria.. but them also collapsed... not really shine.. just reff not our side.. should be 1-2 chance of penalty, at least game end as draw should be ok.. but lost.. title hope were gone.. |

As we play on our turf, attacking is a MUST thing to do. so here is my prefer starting XI:-
Casillas, Marcelo, Carvalho, Pepe, Ramos, Diarra, Xabi, Khediera, Oezil, CR9, Papita. formation : 4-3-2-1 my prediction, spurs will play counter and crossing as they will supply ball to either Bale (if he fit to play) or Lennon. and crouch will be the target man. hope we can win at least 2-0.. |

QUOTE(zeronehza @ Apr 5 2011, 10:50 AM) yup.. we really dont have any choice, but IMO, it worth to take risk as we only have 2 trophy left for grab. playing CR9, Marcelo, Kaka or any injured/half fit players really a big risk but, as mentioned we dont have any choice and we need to win this match at a great margin. 2nd leg will be very depending on this match, it is still an open game for me, anyteam can beat anyteam, so teams that performed with less mistake obviously will win.. it is either do or die.. |
