I stand by my comment, the free kick should not exclusively belong to Ronaldo only. 20 - 25 meter is good range to score or at least test the GK. If you can't beat them in open play, then at least make the most of those set pieces. I don't think that knuckle ball trick work well for short range free kick, maybe Xabi Alonso or Oezil should take the short range one. I think Mourinho strategy by applying high pressure during the early minutes paid off, Barca rarely punt the ball high and Victor Valdes actually the key for their build-up and calm play. So this tactic make them rush their play and plenty of mis-passes by Barca.
But Madrid didn't took the later chances, it's down to individual mistake than tactic. After Barca 2nd and 3rd goal, the player seems lost their determination.

actually i feel that last night the biggest problem was real's attackers that normally shine in every match.

personally i feel that despite the mistakes and kinks in defense RM did a respectable job.

this is pretty much waht happened, real kept going selfish and yes im looking at you ronaldo. once the ball reaches ronaldo he speeds up, regardless if tehre are swarms of world class defenders around him. he refuses often to make interplay with any of the team mates.

maria did the same thing, many instances i see him cornered wanting to take down 2-3 defenders by himself.

benzema also had to drop deep to receive the ball (anyone remember him getting any service in the box) hell no, resulting to pretty much a toothless offense.

and ozil well, he is a shadow of last year these days but i dont blame him. i dont remember anyone playing a team attack ytd.

whats teh whole point of any good pressing up field, defending down field when you keep losing the ball due to selfishness?

As I said earlier this season, Real need 9 points gap to win the league beacause they are expected to lose both home and away game or the best they can do is draw at home, but they lost today

Hope Barca will slip points here and there, Real still have 1 game in hand, it's 3 points gap if Real win, need at least 4 points gap before next el classico to win the league, expected Real to lose that one also

Lol then barcelona gonna kick themself if they win both games against Madrid but can't win the league ...
