correct, just like latest google maps. the update push based on your sim location. because google want to offer only new version if the feature have the maps support. for example 3D building rendering not available in asia here except japan. just a have fun to switch in market enabler to other region. then u will have the update, explore to US map have to look, it's cool.... |

damm... RM1750 seem like overpriced. Singapore Pre-order already sold out, but the tablet comes with free docking only for SGD 699 [~RM1689] have to wait the official launch with price revised. |

QUOTE(LiMcZ @ May 10 2011, 11:52 AM) tranformer, the usd n sd card reader is in the keyboard, +1 for asus. while acer is located at the tablet itself... beside 16G internal storage; or maybe there is 32G launch soon, not sure The extra storage extend options = tablet itself have microSD card slot / keyboard docking have SD card reader / 2 USB ports and also second battery on dock, just love it... 1 thing missed out, if there is extra HDMI port on dock, will be perfect... but not that bad, the tablet itself have a micro HDMI port. |

QUOTE(rulmufc @ May 12 2011, 10:23 AM) My brother staying in HK but once a month he will fly to US for 3-5 days only so he doesn't have much time to survey. Hopefully the warranty from US is international warranty. replied from ASUS Singapore: http://www.facebook.com/asus.sg/posts/208843925816290 QUOTE ASUS Singapore Official Fan Club: Hi Zhenghao, no problem. Do note that warranty for US purchase is only US local warranty instead if international warranty. Thanks. double check and confirm before purchase at US....Tuesday at 2:53pm This post has been edited by djlah: May 12 2011, 11:01 AM |

Yes, Google had resolved the driver and lag issue from Android 3.0. I'm more interested on Android 3.1, waiting and searching for review.
the real tablet battle start from Android 3.1.... This post has been edited by djlah: May 19 2011, 11:00 PM |

QUOTE(un_id @ May 20 2011, 10:47 AM) transformer is really tempting. but i cant deny the "ugly" look of it, i mean, the design, cant it be better? sighh.. and i guess this is the first gen of tablet+keyboard device, so the next gen should be lot better...arghhh..buy an ipad 2 and use it while waiting for better android tablet, then DITCH the ipad2 into the drain. (the reason i said this is coz Apple device hard to drop price, means can sell a bit high later to get an Android..haha)..urghh.. maybe only high resell value start from next batch of iPad2 but may not 1st batch of iPad2, because right now there is top issue on iPad 2 backlight bleeding, almost 80% of user encounter such issue. waiting LG to supply next batch of better lcd. |
