QUOTE(poolcarpet @ Jul 4 2011, 10:53 AM) do you have this plasma? i disagree with the statement below. i downloaded transformers trailer 720p from youtube and i have to say the quality is quite good. if you are not a hifi movie buff, and just want to watch some 720p, i think this is a great deal. it's going for around RM1500 now and I think that's a great deal for a 43". which other plasma/lcd costs this low?? I have this plasma....what u r seeing is actually less than 720p...anyway u probably can't see the difference.. no doubt this is the cheapest 43" plasma..

This lends itself to rectangular pixels since the normally 4:3 ratio of 1024x768 has been stretched to fit a 16:9 display. Added on July 5, 2011, 9:25 amQUOTE(poolcarpet @ Jul 4 2011, 01:59 PM) this plasma's resolution is 1024x768, so when we play 720p movies (1368x720), don't we see the max 720p? the tv will fit the image to it's native resolution. QUOTE(sphiroth @ Aug 7 2011, 08:58 AM) Not sure, some forummer mentioned this card lacks the ability to 'hold' the vertical frequency (not sure what it meant). But no ptoblem since this tv already got build in media player. Added on August 7, 2011, 8:59 amBtw, somerimes newer is not always better (cut cost, etc) Yes...this tv built-in media player is good... I have my PC connected so that I can watch some tv drama online..
