Cool concept to let people decide how much to pay the the digital album...

I just read about this concept from a book "The Price of Everything" of giving people decide on of how much they would pay for the online digital album... the stats shows that 38% of the fans "actually" paid something for it... and later the band called "Radiohead" actually became popular and sold more albums that their previous two albums...

if you saying our normal cd and up-convert, then no, not good, if buying SACD type 24bit CD, then maybe, but the conversion result may not be as optimal

I always think that CD quality still the best even compare to Flac.

local press are really bad, correction had to be done a lot for accurate sample output, and normal cd are 16bit 44.1 khz, not a 24bit

Where do you all usually purchase these songs?
I plan to do a Flac library in my NAS and play with wireless speakers to get mobility and decent sound quality.

i use HDtracks.com, has justin timberlake 20/20 experience in 24 bit recently, and also hail to the king by avenged sevenfold, free one hdtracks sampler package, all are 24bits tested and legit non upsampled

Linn records gave away 27 free HD tracks during the Xmas promo.
