I made the same comparison, Maybank does not charge you extra if you make payment on Paypal.
i think it is Cross Border fee.. CIMB among the bank that have charge on it, while Maybank dont charge Cross Border fee..I made the same comparison, Maybank does not charge you extra if you make payment on Paypal.
