while hsbc free upgrade retain same card number.

I highly doubt RM 30k CL from Citibank cc alone can get the CIMB WMC. Previously only HSBC holders got such exclusion.

I hope you can answer my question regarding the buy 1 free 1 movie ticket.

Last Saturday evening, I went to The Garden to buy Premiere Class tickets, in the hope to get the buy 1 free 1 by using the Visa Signature card. However, the lady told me that I can't get the buy 1 free 1 on Saturday. I asked the reason why can't I get it, she just repeated her first answer, but with additional she said I can get the buy 1 free 1 only for 11.45pm show that night (Sat).

I would like to know is there any T&C stated in this buy 1 free 1 movie ticket promotion that the final decision is to be made by GSC? Do they have the rights to whether allow or not to allow people to get the buy 1 free 1 movie ticket at the specific date and time?

Is there a quota under this promotion? I'm afraid there's nothing to do with the quota issue in this case.

Hope somebody can clarify and lodge a complaint to GSC if they breach the contract.

Before superwoman answer your question, I just share my experience on this b1f1 deal using CIMB VISA card. I don't think that is the valid reason in stopping you to ask for the deal, for me, I will ask her manager to explain it why they not honor it. You can always call CIMB CS line to complain your situation & to ask for a resolution.

DA never offer to free upgrade for me... even i have been using the cc for like 8years....

try spend 5-figures amount per month then pay full the statement balance.

or just spend till reach limit then pay immediately on same day so the limit will be available back.

if they see ur spending is not high, why need to upgrade?

or just provide them ur latest 3 months payslip ~

i spend till max and pay off all once.. they just upgrade my cl... lol

but now DA dont have gold anymore right? u might received free upgrade later

previously they just send me new card with new number and new expiry month but expiry year is same

old card expiry 01/14, new card 12/14. extend 11 months only?

luckily no gst charged for the new card

if u can provide 2x payslip of at least rm6,700/month then should be no prob to upgrade for plat ~

Your record must be not good then. I have my DA card for 11yrs and was upgraded to DA Plat few years ago and DA current a/c also upgraded to CIMB preferred

record not good?? hmm... maybe i never let them to earn the interest from me then... 

DA will be discontinued by year end. They are in the midst of migrating to CIMB. My DA current a/c has already migrated, but not sure if CC will be the same coz was told to continue using DA cc until next anniversary, some forumers called their cs indicatiing the migration is only for current a/c. Need to check again later on the cc.

haha. but I also did not allow them to earn interest from me as I pay in full each month and my usage was like few hundred bucks only
