Not for everyone? Then what happens to those who are not included? Or you are referring to the migration to CIMB preferred?
*
I think better ask CS in DA on this. because the earlier info was given to me when RM from CIMB Preferred called me of the migration.

The migration only applicable to DA current a/c. DA will still retain its credit card division.

Both gives you almost the same returns and you can also use CIMB points to redeem on the spot like cash at selected merchants/outlets. Diff, VI CL Min RM100K, VS I got no idea.
*
Fyi, VS CL Min RM50k.

The reason I only want CIMB VS is GSC Gold class free ticket.
And, if CIMB discontinued the 0% BT, I also will cancel it.
CIMB card to me is simply useless except its BT. Its SmartPrivileges sucks.

Totally agree with you !!! thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

The Direct Access migration to CIMB started from July until 31 Dec 2011.
Those who had not get any calls on the migration should just wait.

Guess I will cancel this card soon since not much usage besides using it to pump Petronas and the rebates are pretty low. A month of RM300 - RM400 usage only manage to get a rebate of RM4 - RM8. hmm.gif

Not entirely true. The card does not match your expectations and spending patterns. To some people it is very useful.
For example ... I have the card but I don't use it for my general spending. However it gave me interest free installment for my hospital bills which no other credit card in Malaysia offer.

CIMB Direct Access is good for me.

1. Got 0% BT.
2. Get 15% off for liquor at Eraman.
3. Get 15% discount at Amarin and Flying Chillies. Can use points to pay bill too.
4. Get Free coffee at Dome.
5. Get Free movie ticket including Gold Class at Mid Valley. Since my wife has the VI too, we can get 2 free tickets.
6. Get 10% of at Alexis.
7. 0% Interest Free Education Installment for my children primary and secondary school fees. Local private colleges also, hope they still have it when my second child enter college next year.

What i like about cimb cc

1. NO annual fee
2. up to 15% discount at Eraman. If you dont know what is Eraman, you can get super cheap price for liquor, cigar and chocolate. i bought a lot of liquor and chocolate whenever i visit Eraman
3. 0% BT
4. lots of promotion and discount

What i dont like
1. No option for E statement. For those who apply 10 BT, you will receive 10 paper statements doh.gif is there any option to sign up for e statement ?
