i normally pay extra until the cc owes me,
they will send the statement.

somehow i like to see statement saying the cc owes me.

instead of paying until RM0 balance and wondering whether they receive the payment or not. or statement got lost etc etc

Unfortunately you don;t get interest back if you overpay... wouldn't recommend overpaying your CC.

Has anyone tried paying for KFC using the points from their CIMB/Direct Access CC? I am thinking of doing so.
*
Yes, it went smoothly. Just need to swipe you card, and then sign the receipt showing how many points redeemed and its balance.

Yes. I did. But if you want to redeem the points in KFC outlets, minumum purchase after 5% discount must be at least RM20.

If you got additional funds, put in Savings Account which earns monthly interest.

Surprisingly CIMB did accept my World and Infinite application eventhough I didn't meet the income requirement. Just that I had to submit a lot more documents (like a normal card application) instead of just the latest salary slip. Still worth it. Applied at Sunway Pyramid for the 1 hour approval and the staffs are very helpful. Special thanks to Ms Farah for helping ease out the application process.

I only "pay extra" when I pay by machine as they only accept round figure, 10, 50. 5 also got if not mistaken.

Why would one want to pay extra to their credit card? I don't see any reason why.
What my family members does is that we pay our credit cards on the last few days before the statement is due. Especially if the statement is due in the beginning of the month, we pay after the end of the month to get the interest in our saving account before paying the credit card bills off. But CIMB all due on the 31st I think. Whole point of having a credit card is to be able to make purchases on credit no? lol

Agreed, only if you keep all your money in your pocket.

have money in savings account not in banks pocket?
reload your touch n go not in their pocket?
what about FD, share account, gold accounts etc ect.
