Can't believe that the minimum sms alert threshold is rm1000 for CB Platinum card. Scared to use it for e-commerce.

Thanks. Didn't know that can change to lower amt. The form stated min amt at rm1000. Will call the CS to do that.

Same for me, did my 3rd tranx yesterday and called the CS and he reconfirmed my entitlement for the rm250 bonus + rm50 welcome bonus.

Why bonus x4 =rm200? I only got rm50.

You can refer to their list of merchants on CIMB website.
But was surprised that AEON BiG Hypermarket not included in that list.
City Chain and Harvey Norman are not in the list which is not exhaustive.
Internet transactions are included.

Only problem is if the Merchant is listed but the MCC is not as those stated in the T&C.
Calling the CS is of not much help. Maybe just have to try our luck.

Didn't see any DA card in the list.

That one is the CIMB Islamic Classic MasterCard.

Too small to id but it is not in the list stated in the T&C on the same page.

How many weeks did u participate in this promo?

Not bad 4 out of 10, moreover it was done around 9.30am every Monday. Funny some even claimed they participated in all ten weeks early Monday morning after 6am and got nothing.

You got 5% CB from OCBC CC(Ti) for Nirvana package ?

Only if you apply the card from CIMB Card Centres.

Booked a ticket from Firefly website yesterday, call up CS to check MCC code turned out to be 5968 (Direct Marketing – Continuity/Subscription Merchant).
So it doesNOT qualify to earn the 20% rebate cos it is not considered as Airline online booking (MCC codeS are 3000-3299,4511 only).
It also doesn't qualify for 5% rebate for ecommerce cos NOW it is considered as Airline online booking even though 5968 is not an Airline mcc code.
It also doesn't qualify for the 2% rebate for mobile bill payment even though 5968 is one the qualifying code.
It only qualifies for 0.2% as other retail.
So frustrating!!!

Read somewhere that this does not qualify cos MCC is Posmode 01 not 81.

google it and you get the answer.
