Just noticed kena finance charge rm64. Is finance charge refers to interest rate? Kinda confuse here coz this is the first time get this charge from cimb

[attachmentid=3756864]
*
Maybe you didn't fully settle your last month's Statement Balance... this would be interest charged for outstanding balance

QUOTE(guy3288 @ Jan 9 2014, 11:36 PM)
good for you, i have not received such offer yet.  Comparing the Aeon BT  and this CIMB BT, which is  better?

I am planning to take that Aeon BT, zero fees , 6 equal monthly installment in 6 months, interest 0%. THey are trying to find out for me if we can earn Aeon points on the amount of money transferred............If really can earn points, imagine getting 30000 points just like that huh, i think i must be dreaming.......i doubt Aeon credit will give us points for doing BT....
*
Confirmed we can earn Bonus Point for each month's BT installment payment....
Prefect: BT to CIMB first, then followed by BT to AEON

that means CIMB BT must be better. Becos if i BT to Aeon Watami card,  the total BT amount will be divided into  6 equal payments, and every month i would be paying back 1/6 of my hutang, end of 5 months hardly any left to transfer to CIMB as new BT.

If this CIMB BT is also 0 fees and zero interest for 6 months, and every month we need pay only the minimal 5% of our hutang, this CIMB BT is much much better than the Aeon BT i am contemplating now.

Please confirm if that CIMB BT is just like what i have speculated above. thanks. and i am hoping i would also receive such BT offer from CIMB, may be i have to mention my interest in it to my RM tomorrow.....
*
Yes... exactly like you said.
CIMB BT 0% need to pay min 5% for month 1-5 and fully settled by Month 6. Then we BT balance of Month 6 to AEON BT 6-month (equal installment).

By the way is this CIMB BT  the BT that will create a new account and so  you can continue to swipe your CIMB card and wont get interest charges for other retail transactions usual 20 days interest free from statement date right?
*
Yes.... Either way for my case I'm not swiping the card also, purely for BT purpose smile.gif
