I just did that in Absolute Thai few months ago. I used up 800++ points before the expiry date and pay remaining balance with my card.

I read about the lowering of the amount for sms alert to RM1. i tried calling cimb. they r giving me conflicting answers. one lady from the cimb bank customer service say she can do it. Another said cant. i applied my CC from the CC centre in sunway pyramid. she says the default notification is RM1k.

i called Bank negara n the lady answered that they cant regulate this because its the bank's internal policy. so may i know which is which? can i ask them to set the sms notification to RM1?

i bought one thing online worth rm22xx .. but inside my statement it appears only rm19xx.. the difference is about rm250.. what should i do? should i keep silence or should i report to cimb? any chance they will give something for being honest?

if cashback it will appear as cashback.. in my case my transaction worth rm22xx appeared as rm19xx

have you tried to check the receipt from the online shop?
maybe got discount when you pay with CIMB CC?
