Yes, you can call the Sunway Centre 03-56316979 , I posted so many times in this section already, luckily I know where to get it at my blog, Click below link where I mentioned that one can upgrade to CIMB or DA World MasterCard and Visa Infinite with CL of RM40 with HSBC or SCB.

World Mastercard and Visa Infinite is almost the same if I'm not mistaken.

I just received those two cards. Haven't use it yet.

World Mastercard is entitled to Sunday Rebates and collect Bonus Points
Visa Infinite has 1% rebate on overseas, 0.5% rebate on local, Buy 1, Free 1 GSC movie ticket

Choices ... choices ....

Their CIMB Card Centre CS mentions you need at least RM70K Credit Limit from other banks to be entitled for CIMB WMC, VI or VS

Did you mentioned SCB or HSBC. Other cards yes but HSBC special case because they very stingy with CL.

The WMC Sunday rebate ending soon. VI - if you goto GSC then may be worthwhile.

For my case, it is the benefits of the card that is good, not the above. If you buy liquor (XO in particular) or chocolates at Eraman, these cards can save you more than RM50. Go Tai Thong also get 15% discount (but recently they have many promotions that are like 50% off), but 2 months back had Free 1 for 1 abalone rice and the manager told me CIMB paid for the Free sets (we ordered 4 and CIMB paid for 4).

I think the CL requirement for CIMB VS is lesser noting the annual income requiremnt is VS < VI < WMC, perhaps 40K would work.

Yes, I called CIMB and asked if I can apply for VI with my SCB CC which has 50k CL. The answer i got is NO, you need 70k...

hmm, how about Public Bank Plat CC with 30k CL? Public bank also very very stingy with CL

I think no... you can call to check or try your luck by applying it directly...

that's good. I am an existing customer why is it that they stil require my income documents and not allowing me to use my SCB's cc? My income is far lesser than the requirement but the CL given by SCb is >40k.

for cimb and mbb, there is no way u are going to apply cc using ur existing cc already. they sure will ask u to provide the proof of your income.

After the new BNM rules implemented, i think all CC application requires income proof documents regardless of which bank

yes you are. but actually you can pay your GST with your bonus point. every RM1 spending : 1 bonus point.

World master is basically for golfer : Tee off at these exclusive golf courses without having to pay green fees ( reservation must be made in 7 working days advance )

Visa infinite is basically for Dining : u can see a list of restaurant that have privileges discount.

this both World Master card and Visa Infinite must at least have others bank credit card credit limit more than 70K OR income more than RM200K per annum.

meanwhile

visa signature must at least have others bank credit card credit limit more than 30K or income more than RM100K per annum.

must be a new requirement then.

I upgraded my Plat to WMC and VI 2 years back when it was newly launched and I had submit proof of income. But late last year, I call up Sunway Centre and ask them if my dad can get auto approval with his HSBC CL >RM40K and they said yes, They fax me the form, got my dad to sign on it and refax to them. Later same evening collected the card. I remembered I called to to ask about SCB for my uncle and they said also can for CL >RM40K but in the end my uncle not interested in CIMB cards.


well, why don't you clarify and tell us the CL requirement for HSBC and SCB to qualify for the the WMC, VI and VS.

I recently applied for visa signature but was rejected. at that time give my card with limit of 29k. I have CIMB gold petronas but with low limit. should I know about this I might send CC with more than 30k CL

here I made my list for clear view.

WMC & VI : CL requirement for Citibank more than 50K , HSBC more than 30K and all others bank more than 70K ( only citibank and HSBC card holder require below 70K can apply but sometimes the credit processing will investigate more on credit card history either qualified to get or not and that is why the team sales need the customer to provide more income documents to get the strong application )

I am really sorry the rejection sir, do you have any others bank CL more than 30k?
