I can choose without any problem with CM7 RC3... Try reboot the phone and see how... Or try reflash CM7 back and check md5 hash for the rom file...

ADB stands for Android Debug Bridge. It comes as a part of the standard Android SDK, which you can grab here. Basically, it provides a terminal-based interface for interacting with your phone’s file system. Since Android platform is based on Linux, command-line is often required to perform certain advanced operations on your device using root access.

Not the same... terminal emulator is simple linux... adb is use to flash new radio, flash splash image, install app, replace stock apps... You need to install android sdk for that...

Mind sharing the gameloft url...

prob booting when flashing new rom can always be solve by booting into recovery... no need adb also can...
