I just want a tablet with long battery life. Don wan to lug my heavy laptop around yet i cant stand the small screen on all the touch screen phone. All my other devices cant last more than 5 hours straight. Played with ipad1 before, good battery life compared to other devices, but the weight is unacceptable, hence looking forward to ipad2.

yup, just played my colleagues iPad 1 in the office. the battery life is really awesome. but no retina display on iPad 2 is really a turn off.

iPad 2 – 600.60g

have you tried holding the ipad1 with one hand for 30 mins straight? without supporting your hand on a pillow, bench or whatever?

i have and i dont like how my hand felt afterwards. if you havent try before, then try it and tell me if you can accept that.

HENCE that is the reason why i am looking forward to the ipad2, so i can try and test it. comprende?

anyway ipad2 is not everything. Samsung Tab 8.9 & 10.1 has been announced with a thinner & lighter body than the already thin ipad2. i would keep my options open bcoz i am no blind fag.

actually if iphone4 can give me 10 hour continuous-use battery life, i'm pretty much more than happy to solely use i4 as my main device for everything and wouldnt bother about tablets. the retina display is enough to compensate the small screen size.
