Well, with a budget of RM2,000, is it possible to get a laptop with features like that? At least an i3, 2GB RAM and 14" screen. I thought Toshiba has a shock resistant laptop =/ QUOTE(PF T.J. @ May 6 2011, 02:47 PM) Rugged notebook? Those are extremely expensive though Your dad working as constructor?

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ May 7 2011, 02:38 PM) Link: http://my.asus.com/Static_WebPage/Product_Guide/Well, I think you're aware that there's no real notebook suitable for very rough use for that price range... I think it would be best to get a Dell and upgrade the warranty (including accidental damage) so that repairs can be done easily and fast should anything happen Might wanna take a look at the Vostro line Just my 2 cents Well, looking at the pricelist in the 1st page, I might decided on the Dell Inspiron 14 or the Acer 4750 =/ What do you think? Now, the budget is maxed at RM1800, really budget XD
