**Do take note that the Asus N45Sf will not be recommended at the moment because some GPU problems. But rest assured, Asus technicians are already aware of the problem, thanks to Kevin and his friend smile.gif

GT540M better or AMD 6630 better

thnks in advance!!!

In stock, GT540M should be slightly better than AMD HD6630M...
Need to wait for official benchmarks for the AMD HD6630M to confirm this though laugh.gif

That's why, some sites put the battery at 4400Mah but some says 5200mah, Asus really facepalm.jpg laugh.gif
*
Yeah, seen many cases of info error as well sweat.gif
Anyway, the battery performance of a 15 incher is so important for you? hmm.gif Just curious~

hey.. any idea when would the toshiba 15.6" A665 i7 2630QM nvidia GT540M without the 3D kit be reaching malaysia?
*
Why Toshiba?
You could probably get an Asus G series or even an Alienware for that price laugh.gif
Anyway, there's a prototype "Qosmio F60" which supports non-glasses 3D technology, perhaps you should wait for that one?

where has miahahaha go?

ts should just combine all size(<12.5",13",15",16">17") here and change the title and ask for mod confirmation, which i think is not a bad idea. i think one reference is enough rather than multiple.
*
Yeah, I think so too, combined is better....
I've PMed mods to help pin the topics but no replies at all sad.gif
Okay, will see what I can do, it'll be abit messy but I guess there's no need for so many threads, thanks bro thumbup.gif

bro...that link only say intel hd ...it nvr mention is 3000? how do you justify it as intel HD 300? .....

i call dell and ask ....they say is not Intel HD 3000 =.="" this is confusing
*
LOL, I thought you were asking whether there's the AMD GPU option sweat.gif
Anyway, "All mobile processors use Intel's Graphics sub-system HD 3000", quoted from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandy_Bridge
Should be reliable? hmm.gif

since asus n53sn i7 is priced at RM3200, I assume n43sn i7 would be price the same, or lower by RM100, right? biggrin.gif if that's the case then I can upgrade to at least 8gb with my budget biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
*
I think the N43SN (if available) would be priced the same as the N53SN laugh.gif
8GB is abit overkill if you're only using for normal tasks...
Might as well use the money to get better accessories thumbup.gif

QUOTE(imin @ Apr 6 2011, 01:02 PM)
same price is it... ooo.. I thought 15" would always be a bit more expensive than 14"

anyway I think doing PHP and Java programming (eclipse), running mysql, apache, tomcat, photoshop, running linux on vmware, and encoding videos and listening to winamp all at the same time warrants enough reason to get 8gb ram, no? biggrin.gif

anyway can anyone recommend me a shop in lowyat who can do the upgrade of asus n43sn's ram? because I read somewhere some shops will only sell the asus laptop as given to them by asus.. means no upgrading thingy.. and any precautions before upgrading the laptop? because read somewhere here too, that some people have problems when they tried to upgrade their rams...
*
If that's the case, 8GB would be good laugh.gif
Imho, as long as its a reputable store and is selling cheap, just bring the laptop and let them put in the RAM, it won't go wrong that way laugh.gif

That is the only widely available 17''(dont count MBP or AW as they serve different tier) that is below RM5000(of course if want import still many more but i dont think suitable to put those imported computer here)

So, can put Vostro 3750 in? brows.gif (it will be a clear/sure win for ppl who want buy that size's laptop, LOL)
*
Well, if only 1 laptop shown here, off course it'll be the winner? laugh.gif
Will see what I can do, we need to be unbiased, regardless of the specs and prices nod.gif
