You could probably get an Asus G series or even an Alienware for that price
Anyway, there's a prototype "Qosmio F60" which supports non-glasses 3D technology, perhaps you should wait for that one?

i've got no idea but it bugs me to know that almost all of my friends that own asus, acer and dell laptops give them problems when its almost 1 yr old and really bugs me cause im gonna go overseas for my studies soon and i dont want that happening to me. where as my friends using sony, fujitsu and toshiba has never had any problems so far

I heard one of the seller saying that the case material of Asus N53SV is made of fully plastic, while Asus N53SN is fully aluminium. Is that true?
