Love the ergonomic keyboard, very useful for Uni work which will require alot of typing for assignments... seen the real thing.... it doesn't look cheap at all (unlike most of its rivals at these price range)
Imho, all laptops are good provided you have warranty to cover them~
So its best to extend the warranty, regardless of what laptop you pick (except for Asus or those promotional ones already with 2/3 years warranty)

Usage? If normal office tasks and light games like DOTA... i3 + Intel HD3000 would be enough, might want opt for 4GB RAM as well

Well, usually I never trust what salespeople say lol.... they would just about say anything to boost their sales...
The most epic comment I've heard so far is "This Toshiba has an ATI HD5650 GPU, which has 2GB RAM is the most powerful GPU at the moment" LOL That GPU was only average in performance, summore the ones in Toshibas are downclocked
