I have a problem with my iPad 3.5mm slot. It cannot be used for a normal 3.5mm earphone nor speaker.
Anyone know what's went wrong?
I just received my iPad 1 from the purchase of Apple Store..
Thank you

Have you mute the sound volume? Once you plug your earphone press the volume button on the right side volume button up and down to test the sound.

restart the iPad, hold down the home button + the sleep / wake button. if still no sound, update it to latest 4.3.1 if still silent = you get to claim warranty n get a replacement iPad
