QUOTE(ngkhanmein @ Apr 4 2011, 01:51 PM) i using zalman nc2000 made in korea. anything? no problem at all.. i works fine.. is far better than CM U2 o U3 frankly speaking.. the quality of built should be match with ur silver color ASUS. funny how the U2 works better on my laptop than the nc1k does i think it all depends on the laptop cooling area for u2 i can customise until i match the intake properly

QUOTE(Kyozen @ Apr 4 2011, 05:15 PM) seriously, 1) go do backup dvd 2) reformat (can refer how to do backup and factory reset in asus manual book) 3) delete useless bloatwares http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus/38068...ware-guide.htmloptional ( do backup registry file and clean error registry entry by using CCleaner) 4) uninstall ATK and reinstall back (dunno why some fn key will nt work after uninstall some bloatwares, after reinstall working fine again) 5) use msconfig to unable some useless startup 6) install 'Windows Performance Tool Download WPT: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/performance/cc752957Instructions from sarf2k4 (at the bottom): http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1606856/+1940#entry403195547) Use Asus Fast boot to delay some program startup then you could enjoy around 2X ~ 4X sec boot up time ps. thx to all sifus in this forum who share and guide to achieve fast boot up time Congratz on your lappie Here, follow this few steps This post has been edited by Trance4eva: Apr 5 2011, 05:47 PM

QUOTE(retsmot @ Apr 5 2011, 02:40 PM) agreed yesterday played few hours of me2, the left side become hotter. also the right side palm rest. i think its the hdd? or the dvd rom? thats y its hot abit. but i have tested the pc on for more than 24 hours, mostly idling dlding stuff, it still remains quite cool(in air cond room). keep in mind mine is n53sv. but the build is the same as n53sn so should be similar. @ellimistx99 bro can point me in the right direction to do this? like a number to call or office to visit? thanks. well if u had the sv version, i don't think heat is such a big issue.. sn's i7 i the one that bakes cakes, drawing air from front or from keyboards only hav 1 good point, we can use lappies on carpets and beds.. other will get choked up by the cotton fluf and puff out black dust. juz asking is the sv fast? cuz i nearly went for the sv cuz the pple in lowyat said no stock for sn for like the whole march..

fast? for me its fast cause i updated from old dell vostro core 2 machine. but its i7 vs i5 ler u asking of course i7 will be faster. my budget was 2.5k-3k pc, the n53sn was 3.5k, so abit overbudget. but its fast enough to run mass effect 2 and dragon age 1 on max settings smoothly.
