So far i got no problem yet with my gt550m yet

only got BSOD when playin video via MPC and dling from Megaupload.....only megaupload

I nvr did any BIOS update b4 even on my Asus mobo(desktop) cause i scared something might go wrong
maybe i will do on this lappy during my college sem break

btw, does any1 know how to do step by step BIOS update??

oh yea forgot to update u guys on this
few days ago a new driver was release for Intel GPU, i updated it via Windows Update and so far no prob and Optimus still working fine

yup fits my laptop perfectly

totally ridiculous....unless the RM3299 for N53SN was actually a mistake

walao i just saw the Asus VX7.....and im in love with the design

i think Asus is thinking bout competing with MSI gaming series and maybe alienware with the VX7. Seriously i rather buy VX7 rather than G53 cause....obviously....it's an inspired Lamborghini

DAM if only i had RM2.5k extra

just like what Alex said, having the VX7 is just to tell your friends that u have a Lambor at home....and it doesn't have to be a car . Anyway buying the VX7 is more towards for the design and name only. Still the specs is consider to be not bad and seriously the price looks reasonable to me...but the software might have some probs

weird my friend's A53 got loads of bloatware and startup around 70secs and she only had it for like few days.

Anyways i hope Asus will start updating their utilities drivers since better models are coming up

Just tried the INTEL speaker few mins ago from my friend. And it looks exactly like urs in the pic u just posted
What I can say bout the speaker......its extremely loud....but distort too. I put volume 10% also dam loud and the louder i go, the worst the distortion.
As for the sound quality, the bass better than N53SN bass as its more deep, BUT.....the speaker definitely no Treble and 3D surround or Surround
IMO, still the B&O speaker is better but if compare Bass and Volume loudness, Intell speaker is the best. Treble and Surround is really important for me and speakers without them just sucks.....IMO

If connect to N53SN i think the speaker leave it 10% can d la cause it wont distort.
Btw.....10% Volume via Intell Speaker = 80%-90% volume via B&O

dude i think u better pressure them LIKE HELL or either get back ur money. 3 weeks delay is not right. They should either swap for u or send to Asus Service Center to be fix or swap at there
If this continue i suggest u make a report to Consumer Club/Support (dun really know the name )

For that u have to contact Microsoft cause when buying the laptop we are also are buying the Windows Home Premium. Rmb we always have the serial number
