I have a micro sim in iPads 3G n was wondering if i can send out SMS via my sim. I googled and found swirlysms, but wold it work with maxis?

i think swirly need to Jailbreak aite? im using it on my Jailbreak iPad. otherwise u can try heywire for free at App Store.

Hmm.. This i got t try... Haywire.. Would the receiver get my SMS and me as an existing contact with my maxis number?

new ios have the function to disable data only and your 3G data will not work when you enable this setting . other option is to use sbsetting.
