that one compact.. hmm shouldn't be a problem cuz the MCP350 pump pressure is quite high..
*
ok, then which one u choose for the rad.. sweat.gif

1. HW Labs Black Ice Pro 2
2.Swiftech MCR220

Actually, it depends on budget and availability.... If u hav the budget, I suggest u look into HW Labs Black Ice Gen 2 GTX240 rad.... If u choose Swiftech, I suggest MCR320 would be better....
*
eik, why? after doing some reading, i think both them should be in my list.

but when u suggest MCR320, i think u got own reason. can tell me why? hmm.gif

QUOTE(Aura @ Apr 21 2009, 01:37 PM)
MCR320 is more superior than MCR220 coz MCR320 can dissipate more heat..... The MCR320 performs more or less the same as the Gen II GTX240.... If u decide to go for HW Labs rads, get the Gen II GTX ones.... No need to consider other models within HW Labs coz Gen II GTX is their flagship rads....

My advice is to go to xtremesystems forums to dig for more information before ur purchase.... If u wanna get HW Labs rads or any rads from the US, just let me know and I'll hook u up with one....
*
just finished read the articles. and understand well the reason for mcr320..thanks Aura..

how much the cost for the mcr320? hopefully not exceed rm240... laugh.gif

oops. forgot to mention that my pump is mcp350.. doh.gif

1. for MCR220, what barb should i use? i only realize 3/8". but dunno fit or not.
2. after choosing the barbs for my MCR220, how to know whether the size of tubing fit the barbs and the pump MCP350?
3. i plan to use hose clamps and i found there are too many type size of hose clamp. Woot!!!

pls enlighten me.. tongue.gif

yeah, the old fashion way... i always did that when using 7/16 tubings, nowadays i prefer 7/16 more than 1/2. easier to control leak or prevent leak.
u should use G1/4" and 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 inch fitting depends on ur tubings. 3/8 ID tubings for 3/8 fittings(barb). for the compact kit, they are 3/8 ID tubings.
choose the clamps that fit ur OD of ur tubings, not too big, not too small.

OD = outer diameter.
ID = inner diameter.

err, now i got it. is there purchase of radiator will come along with barbs? or need to buy separately?
