Holy crapperoo Sniper, ure luck has really been awesomely bad of late. Was water still circulating in the loop when u got back? Coz the MCP350 is very sensitive to running dry. The manual says DO NOT RUN DRY. If it was running on dry loop then u better gif the pump a good check too.

My damn MCP350 pump is acting up again. Blardy hell. Stupid Laing says it's an industrial grade pump n blah blah blah with a MTBF of 50000 hours. BOLLOCKS to that!
I use my rig for about 10 hours a day for the past 8 months with the new pump that Corsair sent back to me after the 1st died. That's 240 days x 10 hours a day which comes to only 2400 hours usage time n it's already giving me startup probs. Sumtimes when I boot up the pump doesn't startup n I hafta gif it a few taps from under my case n then only the pump starts up. Really fed up lar. QUOTE(hollowbean @ Jun 29 2006, 04:22 PM) yeah! i had the same prob with urs. sigh The 1 I'm using now is the new revision with the RPM sensor. Corsair sent back a brand new rev.2 pump to me but I'm going tru teh same thing as my 1st pump again. bcuz of the early version DDCs will have serious startup problem. the only way is to send back to switftech/Laing..... |

QUOTE(MetalZone @ Jun 30 2006, 05:42 PM) Reliability issues the DDC has been known to have. Solved the problem Laing appears not to have. To suffer the same fate twice surprising it is. Commenting on its reliability even my supplier has been. Hot this issue doesnt seem to be in XS lately, even though moving to DDC Pro's and Ultra's the current trend is. Solves not the problem pumping more power in. RMA it may have to go now. Tried you have? haha. Read until I pening d. The prob is Corsair's RMA took 3+ months the last time. |

QUOTE(irangan @ Dec 16 2006, 10:58 AM) my company is selling Water Distiller. you make your own distill water. hahaha... or you can purchase from medical supplier (ME!) hehe.. it is not cheap. Mineral water? Mati lor the components. With all those minerals n salts in there sure corrode everything.if just for your computer usage, just get those branded mineral water.. it is as good as distill water. in medical field, they always do that too. just my 2 cents |
