wah...mADmAN, sudah mahu masuk air ka???
i can answer the first 2 questions. 1) it will be 1 input and 2 output. the reason....to get better flow rate. 2) the center barb will be the input directly above the heat source. so the cold water pours in onto the hot copper at the center, then split into 2 and exits the block. no.3 will be answered by people who have more knowledge. i'm still new myself |

QUOTE(MetalZone @ Jun 9 2006, 01:00 PM) Coolant additives are not really necessary unless you have mixed metals in your loop (aluminium + copper), or you are running into algae growth issues. QUOTE(seveneleven @ Jun 9 2006, 06:15 PM) yeah i know about that too.that point have been stated before by MetalZone This post has been edited by Shah81: Jun 9 2006, 06:27 PM |

QUOTE(satanhead2003 @ Jun 9 2006, 07:07 PM) Hi guys... i need some feedback. i'm going for pelt/TEC cooling with my wc. But, i'm not going to cool down my proc direcly. Instead, i'm, going to cool down my res. What do you guys think? well my res is DIY Glade . i dont think that you can use the DIY Glade res for this project. You need some thing big to absorb the heat out of the water and transfer that to the peltier.i really dunno how to explain in detail, but this LINK should be very helpful for you.good luck and dont forget to post here and keep us inform with hte progress |

QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Jun 20 2006, 09:44 PM) Anyway...the story is.... I just came back about an hour ago and the monitor show no VGA signal. OMG!!! never seen a Storm crack before. i think most people use those plastic barbs that came with block. maybe your block got some manufacturing defects that causes it to crack. any hope for RMAing the block???First thought that came to mind was....leakage. Then I found some wetness on the VGA..... after taking out everything. Tubings were perfectly clamped...pumps working.... taking apart the Storm, there's nothing groovy inside. It just cracked. Heck, I didn't even over tighten the darn barbs. Next time I'll invest in some of those shorter stainless steel barbs instead. Edit: Now tengah Operation Remove Burnmark from VGA.... nicely goreng'ed sial. Here we are: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « btw...i know why you are removing the burnmark on your VGA |

QUOTE(ianho @ Jul 4 2006, 01:48 AM) Dedicated PC pumps like the DDC all like pondan, must use clean water, cannot use UV die, cannot use tap water, recommended to use only Corsair coolant n all that shite. hahahaha I thought those DDC are "industrial standard" pump. I guess they use shitty components for PC uses. |

QUOTE(MetalZone @ Aug 10 2006, 01:07 AM) Before this, my rad can last much longer when I put it at the rear of my case just behind the rear fan.Now I've moded my case, remove the HDD drive cage and place the radiator at the bottom front of the case. Since the fan is taking air directly from outside and my case is lying on the floor under my desk.....I guess my floor must be really dusty |
