Hi all,
I plan to renovate my condo. basically just kitchen cabinet, built in wardrobe, plaster ceiling, electrical and grilles works.
Do i need to get approval from authorities? i did some survey in MBPJ website, but dont find any info with regards to reno for condo. Appreciate advice from experts here
Thanks!
condo reno does not require local authority's approval. but usually you do need consent from the condo's management, just pay a deposit (refundable if you do not damage communal properties). they usually just wants assurance that you are not doing any alterations to the existing structure within your unit, and also your electrical reno. is not too extensive (excessive draw of electrical power to your db)I plan to renovate my condo. basically just kitchen cabinet, built in wardrobe, plaster ceiling, electrical and grilles works.
