I plan to renovate my condo. basically just kitchen cabinet, built in wardrobe, plaster ceiling, electrical and grilles works.

Do i need to get approval from authorities? i did some survey in MBPJ website, but dont find any info with regards to reno for condo. Appreciate advice from experts here

Yesterday, my contractor has started the work, but suddenly the Mgt Office called and asked me whether i got any approval from authorities for the plan. I wonder why they ask me such question, since I already submit the reno plan to them, and they already give me consent to proceed with the renovation works. so i thought i might i need to submit the plan to MBPJ for approval.
