Hi all!

Well I need your recommendation here.

1. Brand - prefer HTC but Moto seems to be okay
2. Budget - bout 2k+ seems okay
3. Specs - more power = better
4. What you need in the phone - battery should last me like 18 hours of heavy usage (yes I use my phone alot), form factor is also an additional, screen has good resolution

I am very interested with HTC androids but I noticed Moto seems to be fine too. However, seldom see people using Moto so wonder if they are that good.

Planning to buy whole phone (no package from telco since I am using Celcom) around Q3 or Q4. Now need do scouting first!

So what do you suggest guys?

*p/s Don't know it is me or what but I feel HTC phones really coming out very slow! Mostly come out but not usable in Malaysia pula! rclxub.gif

Q3 to Q4? by then I am sure every rumored HTC phones is already out and available laugh.gif

you might want to pay attention to HTC Evo 3D and HTC Pyramid,
both have similar spec and are going to be the upcoming flagship devices from HTC, one of them ought to make it to Msia market
Otherwise I would resort to Samsung instead of Moto, Samsung Galaxy S II, which is another beast of a phone

Hey!

Thanks for the info!

Yes I do have eyes on Pyramid but seems to be too early to say. Thought of Incredible S but it is already out. Prefer new hot phones then rclxms.gif

Samsung Galaxy? Hmm I guess I got to go and try it when it is out then. I tested my friend's Samsung Galaxy S and doesn't like the feel of it.

Seriously need a powerful phone and planning do some serious streaming on it. Like the HTC standing thingy that comes with the phones (most phones)...

Hi all.

Can you advise me what phone I should go for?
Samsung Galaxy S II vs HTC Sensation

Prefer a phone which has
1. Solid hardware
2. A lot of modification
3. A lot of updates

What do you suggest and think is better for me? I will be using it a lot on browsing, games, gps, good calendar and finally, looks great.

Sensation would probably have better build quality if compared to the S2. If you hold you phone a lot i recommend you get one that suits your holding style. Both of these phones would score in every category you mentioned. Also, if you like how it feels in your hand, you can buy it(if its from either one of these phones that is biggrin.gif)

Hmm, I am looking for a phone that will not lag and has some huge horse power to back it up. Yeah what you said is right though. However, again, I believe phone must have good support if not useless right?

Both of whom you mentioned will have good support as they're flagship phones. Sensation has a 1.2ghz dual core while S2 has a 1.2ghz Dual core Exynos. In a nutshell, its just like looking for a girlfriend. If you like how it feels in your hand, just get it.

Oh my my...choosing? I like both so can I buy one free one please? If can find a girlfriend free another one even better rclxm9.gif

Planning to buy SE Arc for my gf. She uses a lot of mp3 and prefer good music (mp3). Also counting on GPS from time to time.

Is this a good choice?

Hi guys. Now seems like SG2 and HTC Sensation both headon, which is better?

1. Brand - SGS2 vs HTC Sensation
2. Budget - RM 1800 (planning to buy in July or early August)
3. Specs - Browse web, games, video, daily task manager, basically everything to do with daily life smile.gif
4. What you need in the phone - everything?

Between both, please give me your input on which I should go for. Was thinking of changing my P148 celcom to i148 iPhone but the price is still RM 1800 inclusive all. So better get newer phone!

Current Price if I'm not mistaken
SGS2 = 2.1k
Sensation = 2.4k

in 2 month can drop RM400-800 ka ....
*
That's why lo. Of course I prefer 1.8k. If 1.9k I believe still can squeeze through my pocket ba. Now just planning but hoping that once those telco releases such phones, prices outside will drop even more lo.

I thought Sensation is cheaper than SGS2? blink.gif

Basically, which is cheaper and I will get...macam desperate ni! drool.gif
