Arc is quite expensive. The Bravia engine screen isn't really that big of a deal. 1.9k can get you an original HTC IS. Or 1.55k for an AP unit. Much better than the aforementioned Arc. Only upside is the extra 4 lines of pixels and the Exemor R camera. SGS 2 if you don't mind waiting.

i say the camera can be quite a significant factor if the user's priority is picture quality.. the arc takes significantly better pictures as well as video as compared to the IS.. but the small internal memory is quite a let down.. nonetheless the arc seems to be quite an improvement from their x10..

however, the IS is a more well rounded fone, and its cheaper.. i personally prefer the IS and i quite like sense as well.. but if video and camera is a priority, i would still go for the arc..

Altho i believe that the IS is the better and more "value for ur money" buy, the arc itself is no slouch either.

Some comparisons don't show "significantly" better pictures with the Arc though, even for the touted better low-light performance, so that's why still comparing. Low-light will still need flash, seems the Exmor R doesn't do that much more. Did you see any reviews there the Arc's camera is "significantly" better?

Thanks.

check out this comparison with for the camera of the arc, iphone4 and N8..
u might interpret it differently, but the low light pictures do look better to me.. and if it is comparable to a iphone4 and a N8 camera, i would say its already better than HTC cameras.. dont get me wrong, the IS is a great fone, but HTC has never done well in the camera department.. and also, the video quality for the arc is quite good, and their sound recording quality is really great.. go check youtube if u wanna see the video quality..
