if you like to tinker with your phone (root, flashing rom, etc) then DHD, otherwise take IS

OR.. you might want to wait for HTC Sensation, its the latest flagship from HTC, which is coming out in 2~3months

LG Optimus 2x is good i guess. The RRP is RM1899. If you're a first timer, i assume you wouldn't go too far anyway. I suggest you go for a lower-mid end device and try out Android first. If you like it, you can sell it off then get the Incredible S or the Optimus 2x. If you don't, you can move on to iPhones or back to Symbian smartphones.

I see. If so, you would probably want the luxury of freely customizing everything. The Incredible S's bootloader is probably gonna be cracked very soon. HTC phones tend to have more user/fanbase compared to other phones. Try following a thread on XDA. You can also wait for HTC Sensation. The full preview can be viewed on engadget.

Added on April 14, 2011, 10:20 amAlso, try not to go with SE's phones. They have a laggier UI. If its not Stock Froyo or a good UI, don't buy it. No matter how godly the specs of the phones are, it'll still bottleneck the whole thing.

other than the dual core of optimus 2x,what r other pros over htc single core phones
