i need help here.

having a headache to choose between these 3 model
1) ace
2) galaxy s sl
3) galaxy tab

planning to get galaxy tab but it kinda bulky for me since i just a student now. (any student @ here using tab?? mind to share your experience?) if not i will go for ace since it got 2.3 already compare with SGS sl which still uncertain for it 2.3 upadate.

gosh. please help

if u do not intend to do HD stuff(i do get some occasional lag even when playing angry bird), then go for ace n save a few hundred bucks... otherwise sl is a good choice since it has better hardware provided if u can bear with its short battery life (i woke up after an 8 hr sleep to find my batt dropped 20%-30%, no wifi, everything closed.. who used my phone while i slept?)

BTW,
The most important thing to consider,
Ace no adobe flash no matter what gingerbread or gardenia bread updates in the future
SL.. ya.. support viewing adobe flash natively

i dont know the others but for me,
the most annoying thing due to lack of adobe flash is u cant browse/navigate some of the site that hav most or all of their content presented in flash eg video clips... if u frequent youtube , then don worry, ace comes with an youtube app that allow u to view youtube video without much problems...

i will choose (in fact, bought it to replace my gf old nokia) ace for the following reasons
1)higher cpu although lower RAM than wildfire
2) comes with newer 2.2 OS, save the hassle of flashing myself
3) slightly larger screen
4) i like ace design ( u can ignore this laugh.gif)
5) cheaper than wildfire during the time i bought it

1. Brand - Samsung, and no more wink.gif
case 1: Samsung Galaxy S i9000
case 2: Samsung Galaxy PLUS i9001
case 3: Samsung Nexus S i9023
default: none

2. Budget. 1k-1.5k
Galaxy S i9000 = Nexus S i9023
Galaxy PLUS i9001 > (Galaxy S i9000 || Nexus i9023)

3. Specs. (Processor / RAM / OS Version / screen)
Galaxy S i9000 && Nexus S i9023: 1ghz Hummingbird / 512 / both can be ported to Gingerbread / Amoled vs S-LCD
Galaxy S PLUS i9001: 1.4Ghz Snapdragon / 512 / Gingerbread / Amoled

4. What you need in the phone (Touch Witz ? Battery life? Form factor?)
Yes / Yes / Yes

Ok, filled up those requirements. My confusion starts here:

1. which devices can be ported passes Gingerbread, as there's rumors that i9000 going to receive Gingerbread as last possible OS. simply, for long term investment, which is best to go?
2. Does amoled really worth to aim for? as for nexus s and galaxy s, s-lcd vs s-amoled with the same price, really confusing.
3. As i9001 is currently not in the market yet (although can be booked already), does it going to be better in terms of hardware long term capabilities(diff processor/diff gpu/same specs on others)?

Thank you in advance smile.gif

if u want more establish communities with lots of firmware/ROM to play n fully utilized ur phone then go for galaxy s.. i think community support way better and longer than manufacturers.. manufacture just care bout ur money. they just release one or two updates for the sake of your money n that's it.. that is why it took them so long to release new firmware of their products.. they want u to 'buy' their 'upgrade' instead

i am one of the few who actually prefer slcd to amoled..
