Thanks, but i dun really like the outlook of Se Arc...
based on my research, i prefer samsung or htc (motorola Atrix seems to have lots of prob )
i am kinda lazy to wait for samsung galaxy s2 (keep delaying, but if u tell me it's launching in may, think i can wait )....
then incredible seems to have prob also (light leakage, and auto reboot, this is horrible, as i am afraid i cant handle it)
will same thing happen to nexus S?
i am a beginer user, i scare when the prob are too complicated, i can't handle it....
hence, i wish my 1st smart phone experience can be a simple and nice 1....
sorry for putting lots of requirements here, but sincerely appreciate your comments where~~~

p/s: ifruit4 almost fulfilled all my requirements, except the screen size, and ......my gf got it already, so, want to try something diff

Depends on what you think is a better UI. Touchwiz is more colourful while stock Froyo is smoother/minimalistic.

HTC Incredible S would be the best for you. 4" screen with Q8255 processor. Its also good out of the box. Custom roms aren't available yet due to the locked bootloader. Community is also large. Nexus S would be okay too but you can make it a beast with customization or just keep it as a virgin. Either one is okay. IS for better camera/build quality/more ram, Nexus S for faster updates/better GPU/better outlook/better screen.

how much trade in price for nexus one? nowadays?

ask ask them can trade in how much, then agak agak u can noe minimum & maximum trade in price

sgsl will get 2.3 gingerbread right? (galaxy s plug [a upgrade version of galaxy s] came out as 2.3 straight out of oven)

anyway.. so if i want cam.. i choose galaxy sl if want speed choose acer.

can acer cam be improved? (somehow )

just go for galaxy s2

sgs got 2.3 officially, but i not sure it applies the same way on sgsL or not

basically, yea cam=sl, acer = speed...
actually x10 is better in camera compare to SL/ALM, proc can comparable to sgsl, 2.3 coming soon, [and XDA Dev team just bypassed the bootloader?]

i just saw a benchmark comparison review..the Desire Z which share the same proc with ALM pawned Nexus One
but if CPU speed, 1ghz won, but 200mhz diff aint that big, benchmark performance gap difference is bigger!
*note that Nexus One runs on Adreno 200 GPU which is equal to PowerVR SGX530, so this proofs ALM is a speedy thing & explained why some say 800mhz better than 1ghz

if the lens ownself is good, maybe is software problem can fix thru update, but i think ALM issue is its lens is low quality 1

lol.. i tot galaxy sl just variant from galaxys could update oso to 2.3 ==" kinda down.

actually my budget is 1k below was suppose to buy SGAce but promotion of sgsl then hear from xDarkKnightx about acer. then reconsidering. haha x10 good cam + i love timescape ALOT! . but its 1399.. i just asked ytd. its 400 more than my budget
anyway. can replace it's lens? XP. haha somehow?

x10 apset is only 1040. Can try BBS apset. No issue with my X8 from BBS so far.

x10 is better
better camera,better processor,larger screen
furthermore can upgrade to android 2.3 soon ~

x10= Larger screen, better camera, higher clocked processor but weaker GPU.
ALM= Cheaper with 3 years warranty, better build quality, lower clocked processor but with better GPU, pixel density is higher.

if i buy the phone now, i will have to upgrade it to 2.3 myself later on?
if i buy the phone later, will the phone come with 2.3 ??

the thing im worried when buying acer phone is the community support. i dont see many users and developers around. should it be an issue when it comes to choosing a phone??
another thing is the resale value of acer phones. will it be significantly lower than se phones??

The 2.3 update from SE is very simple. Just plug in the cable and install the software then follow the instruction and your done.
No need to worry.

Community support is also significantly lesser but there are still ROMS circling around. Resale value is still okay.
