Honda Service Centre don't accept AMEX

I am very surprised that KL Sports Medical Centre located in Damansara Heights, which mainly cater to national athletes and affluent groups, does not accept Amex.

On the other hand, TM Point in Taman Desa KL accept Amex over the counters. However, they do not open on Saturdays.

Only location that have this is at KLIA Satelite building. Others never heard of AMEX before.

I purchase IT goods from All IT as well as The Hub (Viewnet) at Lowyat Plaza on an off, the last being at All IT in mid-March 2011. There has never been an issue with AMEX acceptance at both shops so long you're paying the price stated on the label - this I can attest. Both shops aforesaid will however use a separate terminal for AMEX.

But if you bargain for a lower price like me (yes you can!), you have to ask them if the lower price (if offered) is applicable for purchase by CC. As far as I remember and according to the sales staff (at least for the Aztech section), All IT charges a flat surcharge of RM3 for each item (c/f per transaction) - this is not reflected at their card acceptance signage at the cashier. I still lean towards shopping at All IT because of AMEX acceptance and competitive pricing as well as free (2 hours?) parking with the All IT Rewards card - with purchase above RM100 if my memory serves me well.

They have clearly stated on their pricelist and website that they don't charge extra for CC usage. 

Just buy some products from Elken, cannot use amex as well instead of master/visa only.

Interesting fact about the terminal. Never knew that before.

I learned this through an article published by a local financial magazine. It was a while back. Couldn't remember which magazine already. Or may be it was STAR, anyway, couldn't recall now 

Besides AMEX, JCB and Diners Club, Public Bank and Global Payments (HSBC) credit card processing terminal also can process payments made by UnionPay too but then, it is also up to what's the merchant's agreement with the bank that provides the credit card processing terminal. I read that JCB's merchant fee is as high as AMEX's, hence why it is not so popular either.
