Guys, I saw about the different terminals discussion on GSC that accepts AMEX.

Err.. Just a quick question, does anyone have experience swiping AMEX at GSC Mid Valley (not Gardens)?

I need to buy about 100 tickets for Transformer 3 when it is out for purchase...

i think u better purchase it via e payment using visa or master. or else u have to go to MV in the early morning just to avoid the long queue
*
E-Payment can buy so many tickets at once?
Queuing up is not an issue because my work is kinda flexible. tongue.gif

For e-ticketing with GSC, you can purchase up to 12 tickets in a time.
*
Wah, I have to buy 10 times. laugh.gif

For office la.. Our Company's Movie Night. smile.gif It could be more. If 200 pax, can book a small cinema.
The last few times I bought I didn't have Maybankard2Gold Card yet. sad.gif

Go to the cinema around 10am on Saturday. I tried many times in GSC mid valley and only few people queuing. Everyone is probably still having breakfast or dating with miss chow!

Hey, thanks for the tips!
Now I can maximise the usage of x5 TP and 5% weekend discount. brows.gif

Just my single cent, it is not worth for you to buy 200 ticket with AMEX since the cash back capped on RM50 per month which equivalent to RM1000 retail transaction and i don't think so 200 ticket will cost you less than RM1000 =_=?

maybe you should use an alternative card like EON BANK GSC  smile.gif
*
Nah, I don't buy this often.. Only once in every 3 months. smile.gif
I seldom use my card though. Like this month, I haven't swiped my card though already 2 weekends passed. smile.gif
Anyway, I'm buying 100 tickets not 200 tickets, if 200 tickets I do not need to think so much already, GSC will arrange for me. smile.gif

Well, if only GSC Mid Valley's terminal that accepts AMEX doesn't go cuckoo on that day. laugh.gif
And will be an added bonus if I manage to buy them during weekends. tongue.gif

Print the itinerary and collect from counter. At least that was I last did, few months ago. smile.gif

Previously I was using M2U, didn't know AMEX is also accepted. Will use it next time. tongue.gif

cry.gif cry.gif I tried purchasing my Flickr Pro account since it is expiring in 2 days time. I wanna utilise the weekend cash rebate and 5xTP, hence I used my AMEX.

After few attempts, it keeps showing error and the transaction didn't go through. So, I thought of calling Maybank CS to check on this matter. To my surprise, all 5 attempts have gone through and they have amounted up to RM 370! shocking.gif

The problem now is my account is not activated and I have not received any email from Yahoo! telling they have received my payment. When I used my CIMB DA last year to make such payment, it went through and completed only with 1 attempt. Immediately I received an email from Yahoo! billing saying they have received my payment and my account was activated right after that.

Maybank asked me to contact Yahoo! to check on this matter, I only can contact them via email which I have done so and I'm now waiting for their reply.

Anybody has such or similar experience before? I'm basically so helpless now. Will these be reversed eventually? I don't wish to end up paying for something I didn't get at all. cry.gif

Anyone tried linking the Amex card to Paypal? I do not have Paypal acc before and wanted to sign up.

But for the CVC part, I couldn't type in the 4 digit required, only 3. So how should I key in for that?
*
Just did it few days ago.
No issues at all, I can put in the 4 digits.

It mentions: Last 3-digits on the back of your card. For AmEx, 4 digits on the front of your card.
Make sure you have selected AMEX from the top drop down menu.

Ya, I would like to know as well. I plan to buy a LED monitor from ALL IT or Viewnet from LYP, I saw from first page it shows these two shops accept.
Wanna fully utilise weekend cash rebate. icon_idea.gif
